So the big day arrived to see if the underframe modifications to increase the turning circle worked and the good news is they did. Here 1020 leaves the tight bandstand circle after successfully navigating it.

However we did find that she needed a bit more weight to help, hence the packet of glass in the lower saloon.

Very happy with the result though.
