Having completed the painting of the interior, that's where I planned to stop before returning to 1089. It's interesting that having started on 1020, I wanted to keep going. Well do a bit more.One of the problems with the Liverpool Streamliners was water ingress around the two piece windscreen and curved windows. Glasgow decided to address this when the trams came back into the workshop by replacing the two piece windscreen with a smaller single piece ie no draughts and hopefully no water coming in.As 1020 wil be in the final configuration that meant the winscreen had to be modified. In this view I've started to work out the sizes for the new pieces and test fitted them..I'll have to do something similar on the top center window, but that's a different story and for a different day.
