Jams

Many years ago, there were some grapes growing on bushes by my house. Being as I ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches every day for lunch, I decided to learn how to make jam. Since then, I perfected the jam making to the point, I have not bought any jam/jelly for decades.

I make:strawberry, hot pepper, sour cherry and peach, strawberry and peach, sour cherry, peach, and rhubarb.

Three years ago, I entered my jam in the Washington County Fair. I have placed second for three four straight times. 2014 was THE YEAR - finally first place; in fact, I place 1, 2, 3 and 4th out of 5 jams I entered.
