The passing of the summer unto the winters edge across the globe the tides of the ocean meet the river to move together into a winter solstice dance with a last full moon of summer... in most parts always waves surefire planet earth 2010 .
As we continue our look this month into the tidal boar that's right bore wave phenomenon.
Skookumchuck Narrows B.C. shown is one of the most dangerous of river waves dubbed by Aloha Mack the first pioneer to surf it and scope the possibilities ,tide chart,safety and just plain knowledge about river surfing and surfing that area .He has been shaping this spot to be up there with waves in my opinion like Mavericks or JAWS one cool place for " Skook" means rapids and this is The Gathering spot thanks to those from around the world inspired by Aloha to surf it . The tide is like clock work this time of year "Mack explains the river runs in nautical knots not flow and this is not a standing wave " as it waves up and down through the narrows whirlpools of enormous size are created weight to water ratio extreme danger but that is what makes it the epic surf the numerous monster wave condition's that mother nature has created .
