Calgary and in the providence of Alberta have worked hard and long for and many years of planning to build the Weir river project section called the Harvie passage on the Bow river .Home to some of the biggest waves the Canada big rivers turning and churning a past of lethal impassable hydrological waves on the Bow its benefits of the project new waves for all even pelicans .Other benefits these barriers are like human manufactured reefs in a sense giving fish birds and other species of life a valuable priceless protection zone to regroup and spawn and a future .
