The six Regional Science Fairs serve as qualifying competitions for the Regeneron International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF) and the Massachusetts Science & Engineering Fair (MSEF). At the Region IV Competition, the top project is nominated for ISEF, and the top 40 projects advance to MSEF where the awards total over $500,000.
