2012 Winners

Congratulations to all the participants in the 2012 Region IV Science Fair held at Somerville High School, in Somerville Massachusetts. The top 50 participants win prizes, with the top 40 going on to the Massachusetts State Science Fair at MIT. The top two projects are also eligible to be part of the team representing Massachusetts at the INTEL International Science and Engineering Fair in Pittsburg this year. The overall winner and top 40 Projects are listed below.

This year's winner is Surya Bhupatiraju and Hao Shen from Lexington High School with their project: Investigating the Spread of the Influenza A Virus: A Phylogenetic Analysis of the H1N1 Subtype

Also moving on to the INTEL International Science and Engineering Fair is Emily Hu from Lexington High School with her project: Perception, Action, and Outcome: The Effects of Mindful Decision Making on Post Decision Affect
