2018 Winners

Congratulations to all the participants in the 2018 Region IV Science Fair. The top participants win prizes, and the top 40 students move on to the State Science and Engineering Fair at MIT in May. The top 2 projects move on to the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Pittsburg Pennsylvania. The 2018 Winners and top scoring projects are listed below. This year's First place winner was Seo-Hyun Yoo from Lexington High School with her project entitled Blocking Multidrug Resistance in Cancer Cells with MicroRNA Mimics. Second Place was awarded to Vivek Bhupatiraju from Lexington High School with his project: On the Development of Bandwidth Efficient Append-Only Authenticated Dictionaries.
