Mach 2 new - finished in 2024 - for sale at $500
This bike has been a finished frame languishing in the basement waiting for me to have space in the shop to finish and hold it. This is an interesting, 'electric' blue powdercoat finish, a color my painter hasn't used with me before. The seat for reference is more a standard, bright blue. The paint is lighter in shade, somehow more vibrant in contrast.
In any case, it is a Mach 2, the flagship bike at Recycled Recumbent, I dare say until Bacchetta starts making Bella's again, this is the only long wheelbase touring recumbent currently made in the US. Long, comfortable, easy to ride, easy on your sit bones and on your arms and shoulders. It is for me the perfect touring bike, my own bike is of course on the title page of the website, these bikes are made of the same stuff, less a little bling.
Tuesday and Thursday were rain days this week. I don't love riding wet. And I have a little space in the toy shoppe, why not build out another bike? So, here it is. I chose this yellow frame because it is a long one - as shown this bike is set for a 47" x-seam and it can adjust longer as well. (And it can adjust for shorter folk as well. But think 6' tall and up.) This frame was made in think early last fall, it's only been waiting for me to have room enough to store it as a completed bike.

Green Mach 2 - custom build from 2020, never ridden - for sale at $575
This Mach 2 is one I built the frame for 5 years ago. The custom buyer wanted to assemble the bike with his own components, he specifically wanted to be able to mount a Rans seat for the bike. He was also after a specific color, as close as we could come to Bianchi green. The bike was for his sister - It is a small frame, with a 34” top tube. Maximum x-seam to fit on this bike is about 41” (roughly 5’-6” and shorter), it will adjust for someone with even shorter legs. The sister didn’t take to it, so this bike sat ever since I sent it off to Madison, assembled, unused. in 2024 my custom buyer returned the bike here for re-sale. It is in like-new condition, clean, unused.
I've replaced the Rans seat with the 'native' Recycled Recumbent seat, made this time with a heavy duty gray Phofertex mesh - I think this looks great with the Bianchi green bike color. You can option a standard black seat if you prefer that.
Statistics
Frame length 34”
Wheelbase 65”
Seat height 22”
Crank height 14”
Features –
26” and 20” alloy wheels with quick release hubs. Tires are 50 mm slicks for a soft ride.
3 speed alloy crankset. FSA triple with 48/38/28 rings, new.
8 speed rear cassette – 3 x 8 gearing for 24 speeds.
New Half pipe SRAM twist grip shifters.
V-brakes front and rear, new.
The bike uses white cable housings. I changed one cable housing for a black one - it needed to be longer than it was when I got the bike.
I’ve added a kickstand (I like kickstands). I've added a rear rack. Comes with wide platform MYB pedals.
This is a sweet little bike for the right sized rider. Come get it for her (but don’t surprise her with it).

EZ-1 SC steel. A great entry recumbent bike. Offered for $275
The Steel frame version of the EZ-1. Sun's original recumbent made to designs from Easy Racers. This bike is the exact same geometry as the EZ-1 SC Lite above, but it is heavier with the steel frame and slightly lesser components. This is Steve's bike, he's been a friend here in Milwaukee for years - Steve has moved on to other adventures. This bike is clean and well maintained, Steve keeps his many bikes very well.
This bike features three by seven gearing with twist grip shifters. V-Brakes front and rear. Fenders, a two leg kickstand, and there is a wireless computer on the handlebar that seems to be working (I don't warrant that). It has a handlebar mirror. Tires are in good shape. Bike overall is clean and ready to ride. Included if you want it is a half-fairing kit, I can't guarantee that all the mounting hardware is there - most of it is.
This is a great first bike, or a great guest bike to keep for your home visitors. It adjusts easily for riders from 4'-6" tall to 6'-6" tall, and is an easy, intuitive first time recumbent ride.

Burley Limbo Unique shock ride, overhand linked steering - for sale at $300
Burley usta make bikes, not just trailers. They made a few really sweet, unusual entries into the recumbent field. The Limbo is one of them. The monotube frame could be classed a CLWB recumbent (compact long wheel base). It handles with agility, rides with confidence and on a soft hydraulic rear shock. The Burley seat is mounted onto an aluminum track on the main tube - adjustment is easy and it does not need rear seat braces. The steering is unique, with a mid-ship pivot and masted handlebar linked with a bell-crank to the front fork. Steers like a mountain bike, rides in comfort. Note that it will fit a wide range of people. Also note that with a 23" seat, it might be a better bike for a tall person than someone shorter. Try reaching the ground from a 23" bar stool if you are considering this bike. I can do it, at 6' tall. Can you?

Sun EZ-Sport REVISED on June 9! For sale at $400
The original Sport looks like this, I've revised it for a new, lower seat position, like this!
The EZ-Sport. This is a favorite, first rider friendly recumbent. Easy to adjust, familiar to start, easy to ride. I suggest this bike to anyone for whom a recumbent is a new idea, and they just want to try it for a while. The Easy Sport is a comfortable, adjustable upright posture, an easy feet forward pedal cycle, and familiar handlebar and controls. I've yet to meet someone who can't start off immediately and ride this bike. That said, it's a pretty good bike, often all you might ever want. Good solid 3x8 gear train, V-brakes, comfort seat, 26" rear and 20" front wheels. Ya can't go wrong. This is the steel frame model, there is also an aluminum frame version that weighs a few pounds less.
NOTE THE REVISED FRAME AND NEW SEAT. I've trimmed the frame to eliminate the high horizontal bar, leaving the bike with this graceful teardrop shape. I've also added the Recycled Recumbent lightweight sling seat in lieu of the stock Sun padded seat.

Gold Rush Recumbent - Easy Racers' aluminum frame model - For Sale at $800
The GRR is among the best of LWB recumbents. Lightweight aluminum frame, 700c by 20" (406) wheelset, V-Brakes. a fine, fast bike made for touring and hours on the seat. This model is an ML size, suitable for 5'-6" and taller riders (max x-seam is 45"). It has the Koolback seat on it. This was a 'garage find' by a friend of mine, he offered it to me to freshen up. Model year unknown, circa 2010 at a guess. (Cat is not included in the sale)
This Gold Rush is on good used condition. The white frame shows a minimal number of smudges and scratches, no dents or structural problems. Lightning P38 - THE best short wheelbase recumbent bike ever. - Offered at $800
Hands down the best non-racing short wheelbase recumbent bike on the planet. The P38 is a truss frame construction, not a single tube. It is light, responsive, a great climber. Comfortable. This one comes with a custom aftermarket handlebar kit. Great carbon crankset, good wheels, comfortable mesh seat, V-brakes front and rear. 3x9 gearing, new chain, SRAM twist grip half pipe shifters. Mast tilts for easy on and off the bike. Bike has a kickstand. The frame is spotless - I can't say showroom new, but you will be hard pressed to find flaws, and it is a very clean assembly just completed here. This is a large size frame, suitable for riders from 5'-6" to 5'-11"
Provenance. This bike came to me as a frameset. The seller incorrectly sold it as an XL frame, it is not. If it was an XL frame, the bike would stay here as a personal ride for me. :-) The frame - I can't describe it as in 'new' condition, if pressed you can find a scratch or two, but it is as near flawless as a used bike can be. And squeaky clean. All work for assembly of the finished bike was done here, at Recycled Recumbent. The seat and wheels came with the frame set, all else was supplied here, from my parts stock. The tilting mast and high racer handlebar make a particularly fine enhancement to the original design. I ride this bike (my own XL sized model), I am very familiar with it's performance abilities, and the set up here is as good as it get. Come and see the bike that has my highest reguard (for SWB models).

Easy Racers' Tour Easy - the model touring bike - for sale here at $500
The Tour Easy is the most popular touring bike on the road. Even my own bikes do homage to this design. The Tour Easy handles well, is easy to learn and to ride, and is comfortable and efficient for hours and hours of riding. It also carries a touring load easily and well. This bike came to me as an unfinished restoration, many components are not 'stock' from the original factory bike. The prior owner was moving to mountain biking and other pursuits, so this langushing project came here for finishing and to find a new home.
This is a medium size frame, suitable for x-seams up to 44", or riders up to about 5'-10" tall on average. It can adjust down for riders to about 5'-3" tall. There are exceptions, but this is a fair marker on rider size range.
Details of the work done here. The bike needed a rear derailleur (Shimano Tiagra added), it needed an idler (TerraCycle Sport idler added). It came with a choice of seats, I selected this ER Cobra seat for it. The Cobra seat's tall back plate was cracked, so I fashioned mending plates to repair it. The bike needed a new handlebar, this is an old stock Easy Racers' handlebar I added. A complete assembly here, plus tuning and clean up, and this Tour Easy is ready to ride.
Features -
Note this fork is not native to the bike. The prior owner added this fork, originally from a Sun Bicycles Tour Easy - to this bike, it works perfectly.
Cobra seat
3 by 9 gearing operated by trigger shifters.
Caliber brakes front and rear. The front one is new, added here.
Beautiful wheels are Velocity Spartacus deep vee wheels. 700c rear and 20" (451c) front. Good tires.
Frame mount kickstand
solid blue paint on this frame - it isn't showroom new, but it shows very few nicks and scratches, no fading
Lycra cover for Cobra seat is in great shape, no wear, no holes.
This is a fine Tour Easy, ready to ride - come and see!
