Key points
There are 2 ways to add video assets to articles.
When adding video assets to the body copy, position the video at the bottom of a section and above callouts.
Video titles and captions have specific rules for capitalisation, punctuation, linking and numbers.
Adding video assets to articles
You can add video assets to articles in 2 ways:
Add them to the YMALS.
Embed in the article content.
We recommend adding no more than 3 videos to articles.
Avoid 'stacking' videos on top of one another.
Videos are best positioned at the end of sections and above callouts.
Video blurbs can be customised in embeds as required.
Videos: cross-references to content on raisingchildren.net.au
When the exact title of an article, video, illustrated guide or other content is cross-referenced, present the title in sentence case:
View Enough milk, too much milk, expressing: video on raisingchildren.net.au.
When the topic of an article, video, illustrated guide or other content is cross-referenced, present the title in lower case:
View a video about milk and expressing on raisingchildren.net.au.
View a video on enough milk, too much milk and expressing on raisingchildren.net.au.
Videos: names and affiliations of professionals, parents and children
Present the names and affiliations of parents, professionals and children as per the following examples:

Use our general rules on numbers. For example:

Present the ages of all children in numerals (not in words), whether above or below 10:

Note that onscreen copy should use the person’s specific job description or title, even when that is inconsistent with house style. For example, use ‘maternal and child health nurse’ (specific description, relevant to Victoria) rather than ‘child and family health nurse’ (RCN house style) is appropriate.
Videos: organisational name
Present the title of our organisation as raisingchildren.net.au, unless otherwise advised.
Videos: punctuation
Punctuate full sentences as usual, with a capital at the beginning and a full stop at the end:

Punctuate sentence fragments without a full stop at the end:
