Frederica Campbell MacFarlane Scholarship

McGill University

The first scholarship established by the QWI in 1922 commemorates the late Frederica Campbell MacFarlane, a McGill graduate of Institution Administration (1912) and our first QWI superintendent (1913 - 1919).

Frederica traveled the province with a team of demonstrators teaching new skills to WI members.

The scholarship is awarded to a student from rural Quebec in any year of study and is based on the results of final examinations in the McGill BSc Dietics and Human Nutrition or concurrent program.
