January 2021 Meeting Report

Anthony gave a presentation on Node-RED, a Javascript framework for node-to-node communications. He showed some examples of how to use an input object to send Hello World messages to a debug output object.

Alex showed a Tooltip on how to preserve an opened tube of silicone sealant for future re-use. He presented a project on modifying a standard batten lamp holder with a 433Mhz remote control switch. Descriptions can be found on Projects home page

Andrew talked about how he wired a chain of PIC12 with bell wire and used current sensing to communicate data at 56kbps back to PC.
