Showed photo sequence of loading & soldering SMT PCBs at UNSW.  

Features included a Double sided PCB, a BGA device and 0402 components.  This was hand assembly and soldering of 5 prototype units at the UNSW Biomedical engineering lab.

Photos below show the blank board (both sides) and the size of the BGA and another component compared to the tip of a pen.  

The BGA has a matrix of 72 pads on its underside.  All have to be connected without any shorts.
