Martin:

-a mini UPS box he bought from tokopedia for AUD10. It provides 12V and has 4 Li-ion batteries, BMS, step-up converter, and battery level display.

-use of a Sensirion SGP30 Indoor Air Quality Sensor for TVOC and CO2eq Measurements. The output is fed into Influxdb and Grafana and the resulting values charted over 24 hours.

-a diy helicopter control stick and pedal based on Douglas Stanton design. Istvan provided the mechanical construction while Martin handled the electronics and software. The flight software is Flightgear.

Alex:

-desoldering 2 Winbond SPI flash chips from an inkjet printer PCB.

-Programming the 128-Mbits flash chip with an Arduino Nano using the SPIMemory and SerialFlash libraries.

Andrew:

-an experimental PIC12 sensor controller board built with veroboard. It has a bus interface with Gnd,VCC,data lines. The data communications is 9600 baud serial with time division multiplexing for handling up to 8 sensors.

Lino:

-showed repairs to an infrared remote controller by cannibalising parts from another controller.

-a front panel for an enclosure made with paper. The design is printed on an inkjet and then laminated. It's mounted on box cover using contact adhesive.
