Yes, of course you can send a private message (or PM) with questions directly to a moderator. Unfortunately, with 20,000+ members in the group, we receive far more private questions than we have time to answer.

We encourage you instead to post your questions to the group. In this way, you can benefit from the collective wisdom of the group (many of our highly knowledgeable members are not moderators) In addition, when you post a question to the group, everyone can benefit from reading the question and the answers. Each question posted is an opportunity for the whole group to learn something new.

We understand that you may be in a situation where it is not safe for you — or is otherwise impossible — to ask publicly about HIV and PrEP. The moderators are always willing to receive a question from you and post it to the group anonymously on your behalf. In this way, you get answers to your question, and the rest of the group gets the benefit of seeing your question and reading the answers.
