Outlook

Tremayne is a high-level athlete who brings speed, quickness and athletic ability. He is a player who effects the game on both ends of the court. A good defender with great length, he is able to defend both on the perimeter and in the post, he is able to block shots on the perimeter and at the basket with equal skill. Tremayne is a slasher who can score in a variety of ways, able to shoot the 3-point shot , knockdown the mid-range shot, score in the post and is able to create shots for himself and his teammates. Tremayne can get to the basket and will finish strongly at the basket. He is an unselfish player, who is a willing passer to make plays to benefit his team. Tremayne is a "glue player" who will make a difference on any club that he is a part of.

Dec. 30 against Montana,Tremayne posted 14 points, 10 rebounds and 2 blocks in 32 minutes...Dec. 20 against St. Mary's, Tremayne posted 8 points, 5 rebounds and 2 blocks in 22 minutes... Dec 14. against UCLA, Tremayne posted 12 points, 7 rebounds and 1 steal in 21 minutes... Nov 27 against UC-Davis,Tremayne posted 13 points and 3 rebounds in 15 minutes... 2010-11: In Big Sky Conference statistics, Johnson was fourth in blocked shots (1.2), 23rd in scoring (10.0), 16th in rebounding (5.1) and 14th in free throw percentage (77-of-101 for 76.2 percent) He finished with a total of 35 blocked shots to rank third in school history. He helped Eastern finish with 120 for the season, closing the year only 10 away from the school record of 130 set in 2006... Johnson scored in double figures 13 times, including a team-leading four performances of at least 20 points. He led Eastern in scoring five times, including a 20-point effort in a 65-51 win over Portland State (1/27/11). In addition, he rebounded in double figures twice and led the Eagles on the boards in three games. He also was the team leader in blocked shots in 15 games, steals in seven outings and assists on one occasion. He finished third on the team with a 10.0 scoring average for the season, making 42.1 percent of his field goal attempts. He also averaged 5.1 rebounds and 1.2 blocked shots per game. Johnson had by far his best game of the season in Eastern’s 95-91 victory over Seattle (12/15/10). He scored a career-high 26 points on 7-of-8 shooting from the floor and 9-of-10 marksmanship from the free throw line. He also had eight rebounds and four blocked shots ... A starter in six of Eastern’s first eight games of the season, Johnson came off the bench in the victory over Seattle. Johnson had one of the most memorable dunks in school history in that same game versus Seattle, as well as one later in the season versus Montana (2/26/11). Johnson scored on an alley-oop dunk with 8:13 left in the Seattle game to give Eastern a 73-54 lead, and they would go on to win 95-91. Against Montana, with 1:38 to go in overtime, a fast break ended in a rim-rattling dunk by Johnson that brought the home crowd to its feet. The basket gave EWU a 52-50 lead and helped the Eagles toward a stunning 59-55 overtime victory over league-leader Montana. The win helped clinch a postseason berth for the Eagles, and in the process, kept the Grizzlies from clinching at least a share of the league title.

2007-08 through 2008-2009 L.A. Southwest Junior College NJCAA:

averaged nine points and five rebounds as a freshman in the 2007-08 season at then redshirted as a sophomore.

High School: Graduated from Artesia High School in 2007. played on the nation’s No. 1 ranked high school team as rated by MaxPreps.com. The Pioneers finished 33-2 and 11-1 in the league, and won their last 12 games of the season to win the California state title. Artesia blasted Bishop O’Dowd 91-64 in the title game victory. One of his teammates at Artesia was James Harden, who played at Arizona State and now plays in the NBA for the Houston Rockets. As a junior, team finished ranked third nationally. The Pioneers finished 33-1 and 12-0 in league play, and won the California state title with a 60-41 win over St. Mary’s that gave them a 21-game winning streak to end the season.
