Jordan is a playmaker whose knowledge of the game of basketball along with his ball-handling skills, scoring ability that make him the player who he is.  Jordan can  shoot the ball from 3-pt distance with great accuracy and has the ability to get to the basket and finish or score from the mid-range.   His knowledge of the game helps him to make the right play for his team, whether it be scoring the ball or setting up a teammate, as he is a willing passer and team player.  He is a  2-way player who also plays defense. 

“He’s a prolific scorer,” said UMD head coach Brian Baptiste. “He has great range. He has the ability and quickness to get by defenders. That’s a lethal combination.”

 generated one of the most prolific scoring seasons in the nation in 2015-16 and rewrote the UMass Dartmouth record books in the process. He shattered the program’s single-season scoring record with 831 total points. On the season, Rezendes led both the LEC and all of Division III with his 29.7 points per game average. He registered the highest single-game scoring mark in nation on Jan. 30 at Plymouth State, dropping 58 points to break his own UMass Dartmouth single-game scoring record of 51 points which he set in the 2014-15 season. 

In addition to his 58-point performance, Rezendes set a new UMass Dartmouth single game standard this year on Dec. 1 at Worcester State with 10 3-pointers. He established new program season marks with 210 free throws and 103 3-pointers made for the Corsairs this year. He was recognized as LEC Player of the Week four times on the season, and USBWA Division III National Player of the Week twice. Highly decorated, Rezendes is the back-to-back LEC Player of the Year and most recently was named to the D3Hoops.com All-Northeast First Team on Monday. He is the 47th member of the UMass Dartmouth 1,000-point club, as he surpassed the mark on Jan. 13 after only 40 games in a Corsair uniform. He closes his career with 1,434 points.
