Student Advocation
· We strive to make students responsible citizens and develop good habits of study and communication that will make them successful in all future endeavors.
· Do you still have a question about a Test, Quiz, or Grade? Great! Here is a chance to have your student take control of their education by having them ask the question of us themselves.
· At the 6th grade level, we believe the transfer of responsibility from parent to student can be a powerful motivator to student learning.
o We welcome all student questions about grades, missing work, test scores, etc., before school, after school, or during lunch.
§ We limit these logistical concerns outside of the class time focused on mathematical learning.
· We still want to involve you! We would be happy to communicate behind the scenes to make sure your student is checking in, and asking the questions you have made them responsible for.
