Absentee Policy

Missing School? Holiday? Out Sick?

· To take full advantage of the rich educational opportunities offered at Fairhaven Middle School, good attendance is vital for student success.

· However, we do realize that occasionally your student must miss school due to illness or family commitments. If your student has an absence, please note the following:

o There is no need to contact the office or school for make-up work or instructions.

o Students can access Classwork, calendars, handouts, and everything they need online.

§ Students have been trained how to access the supplies they need at the beginning of the year.

§ If your student needs to take a quiz, they can take when they return.

o If you don’t have access to online, please let us know and we will be happy to supply you with what you need.
