Skyward Connect

· Parent Skyward Connect is an online tool guardians can access to obtain information about their student.

· Forms are available in the main office to sign up for an account.

In the Gradebook section of the app, there are two main components of each class: Academic and Success Attributes.  

Success Attributes:

• For 6th grade math, the work done in class is recorded in the "Success Attribute" portion of Skyward. If a student has less than a 3, they are welcome to complete this work in Desmos and email their teacher for credit.  

Academic:

• Students have the oppertunity to show that they are at standard throughout a unit with assessments.  These results are posted under the topic of study (i.e. Geometry, Algebra, Ratios...)

 Skyward Student Connect is a way for students to be aware of their progress for each mathematics standard they learn during a unit of study.

· Each student receives a user name and password at the beginning of the year

o   If they lose this information, they can get it again during non-class time (before or after school, or during their lunch).

· Students can print off progress reports at any time for themselves or their guardian.

· Your student is welcome to discuss any questions they might have with us about their grade or the accuracy of their marks during non-class times.
