  • WIKIPEDIA- official page on Swami Maheshwarananda has finally approved reports on sexual abuse. YIDL stuff is persistently trying to remove them from wikipedia so we'll paste that section here if it is temporarily absent :

Media Reports on Sexual Abuse

In recent years, a number of female students and disciples of Swami Maheshwarananda have reported that he sexually harrassed them. Reports have come from several countries, some from long-standing disciples of many years. Both Maheshwarananda and his organisation have denied the validity of these allegations. However, a number of investigative print media journalists have been following some of these cases and found the testimonies of the former disciples reliable and believable. Additionally, some long-standing disciples of Maheshwarananda have left the organisation after careful probing of the allegations. [24] [25] [26] [27][28]

In March 2011 I decided to tell my close friends, who were with me in the system, of the burden that has been lying on my soul for the full length of 12 years. I have not trusted Swamiji anymore. I've always had a difficulty to turn a blind eye on the truth and I was no longer able to keep silent, since I got horrified of the idea that my own daughter could be at the same risk..." read more

  • VEČERNJI LIST NEW : New two paged article appeared in Croatian newspapers Večernji list pp 12-13 (27th September) on XXX's sexual abuse and beating disciples.

Link to a shortened web edition: http://www.vecernji.hr/vijesti/seksualni-predator-svamidi-istukao-sljedbenicu-clanak-330499

Article is named: "Sexual predator XXXX is beating his follower"

VIOLENT GURU: FOLLOWING ALLEGATIONS OF SEXUAL ABUSE, MOVIE WITH EVIDENCE OF A VIOLENT XXX'S NATURE APPEARED ON YOU TUBE

Sexual predator XXXX beats his follower!Girl was attacked in front of the banner "Happy day of honor and respect for women.

NASILNI GURU: NAKON OPTUŽBI ZA SEKSUALNO ZLOSTAVLJANJE, NA YOU TUBEU OSVANUO FILM S DOKAZIMA O SVAMIJEVOJ NASILNOJ NARAVI

Seksualni predator Svaxxđi istukao sljedbenicu!

Na djevojku je nasrnuo ispod transparenta “Sretan dan časti i poštovanja prema ženama”.Girl was attacked in front of the banner "Happy day of honor and respect for women."

Conclusion( in the article, translation and the original )

:Now that the Swamiji's violence got one more dimension ,I guess it becomes clear that to a man to whom is not strange to hit women, it is not a hard job to make her give him a oral sex too. And vice versa. Why wouldn't this man - who was able to sexually abuse a girl who sees a father figure in him - occasionally slap her on the head or in face?

And all this in the name of honor, dignity and respect for women.

Sada kada je Svamiđijeva nasilnost dobila dimenziju više, postaje valjda razvidno da onome komu nije strano udariti ženu nije mrsko ni natjerati je na oralni seks. I obrnuto. Što je takvom čovjeku – koji je kadar silovati djevojku koja u njemu vidi oca – “zalijepiti” usput i pokoju šamarčinu? A sve to pod egidom časti, digniteta i poštovanja prema ženama.

ARTICLE IN PROFIL - MAIN AUSTRIAN WEEKLY MAGAZINE:

"Will you really give me everything?"

A yoga guru who operates out of Vienna is said to have sexually abused female disciples. Profil talked to women who broke their silence on the internet.

By Edith Meinhart

Marie H. * was 16, when her Czech grandmother died. Her father, an unpredictable, furious alcoholic, could not fill the gap that her death had torn in the life of the girl. Through a school friend Marie met followers of Yogi XXXXX. In them she found what she was looking for: maintenance, security, answers. Today she says: "It has taken me 15 years to free myself from this illusion again."

Ana K. *, 34, heard "XXXXX" for the first time in a gymnasium in Ljubljana. Her friends raved the yoga master knew everything, could read minds and see the future. "This has impressed me and made me interested." At 15 the Slovenian became his devoted disciple. Twenty years later Ana says bitterly the guru knows how "to capture and manipulate people, there is nothing supernatural about him."

Monika P. * had saved 30,000 euros for a bike ride around the world. In front of an ashram in India she had a flat tire. XXXXX came forward and informed the 27-year-old that her "outer journeys" would get her nowhere. The woman from eastern Germany had dropped out of medical school and had managed a hotel in Ecuador. Now she got stuck in the ashram, praying, meditating and working until she dropped.

As different as the stories of Marie, Ana and Monica begin, in the end they all felt dramatical - deceived, exploited and sexually abused.

XXXXX – called XXXXX by his followers - came to Austria in 1972 to build his empire YidL from here. In Vienna he founded the YidL first society. It was followed by sister societies around the globe. On the homepage www.yoga-im-taeglichen-leben.at XXXXX shows himself with the (Austrian) Federal President Heinz Fischer in India, with the Dalai Lama in Croatia, planting peacetrees in Belgrade, Villach and in the Vienna city park as well as in prayers for world peace. Recently there are also inglorious things to be found on the internet. On www.XXXXX XXXXX-abuse.com andhttp://sites.google.com/site/paramliar Marie, Ana, Monica and three other students report about disturbing experiences with the Indian guru.

The Slovenian Ana had been XXXXX's disciple since five years when she came to the ashram in Jadan in the Indian province of Rajasthan. What happened there, she describes this way: One evening the master called her into his bedroom and asked: "What will you give me?" She replied: "My soul, my heart" But he was only content when she said "My body and my soul.". Then he pushed her head down to his penis and ordered: "Drink it."

After this incident she had been „totally out of order for one year“ says Ana. She had rebelled, been at odds, had doubted. Every time she tried to talk with her guru, "he had arranged it so that someone was there and I did not dare." Later, she tried to confide in people from her yoga group, but the responses were "always very bad."

She has been denounced as a liar and as mentally ill.

For Marie, it happened in the Czech Republic. After a satsang - a spiritual gathering of yoga disciples - to which the master had arrived, he called the then 22-year-old in his apartment, into which he had moved during his stay. An elderly lady who knew her well had lead her in the bedroom. XXXXX had ordered her to lie naked on him and "to recharge my heart from his heart." Then he started to stimulate her sexually. "I was in shock," says Marie. "This is divine bliss," and he was for her "the only man in this Universe" he explained. Marie says for a long time she could not cope with the confusion she was in. Again and again she asked herself: "Has he done that to burn my bad karma?" Only fifteen years later, Marie is "through with that society": "I have given everything to my Guru, my time, my money, my trust. He has abused me in every way, also sexually. He pretends to live in celibacy. He has lied to us all. "

When Monika left the ashram in India, XXXXX said to her, she was a good person and should be careful not to get exploited out there, she says: "But the only person who has ever exploited me really was him." According to her stories she had been sexually abused in 2002 in India, first by Guru***, the late teacher of her master, and two years later by XXXXX himself. Until then she had not "doubted her masters perfection for even a second." After that she had been struggling for explanations that did not hurt as much as the truth. She has written letters to XXXXX but never received a response. "The sexual abuse was not the worst thing for me. It has opened my eyes to a much more dramatic abuse. I had to admit to myself that I was in a cult for 15 years and had worshipped a man as a god who did not want to do me any good. My life has collapsed. "

Ana, Monika and Marie were the only ones who were willing to talk with Profil. Three other women have broken their silence on the internet. "Legally, the Guru is considered as pastor with special duty of care", says Ulrike Schiesser of the Federal Center for Cult issues in Vienna. All abuse allegations which have been raised are time barred, the period is five years. None of the women who went public wants to talk yoga down. Monica says she wants to warn others: "Do not let yourselves be manipulated, pay attention on your freedom."

" Yidl is a yoga-way with a strong centering on the founder," says Mrs. Schiesser, a professional psychologist and psychotherapist. "That makes it so difficult to get out of the ideological building and to trust the own instincts." The Guru - so the original idea - should accompany some chosen disciples on the path of enlightenment. XXXXX had taught his followers that to serve him a couple of minutes would be worth more than years of meditation. Ana says in the meantime she knows of twenty women who had experienced the same things as she had: "These are just the ones I know personally. I am assuming that there are many more in reality. "

The yoga master himself is silent on the allegations. He was also not available for Profil. C... M....sky, spokeswoman for the Yidl headquarters in Vienna, admits that he knows about the reports of the women since months: "But in Austria there is no court action, there are no elements of an offense/no statement of facts."

Why XXXXX does not speak out himself, she could not say: "He has a lot of life experience, he will have his reasons. Currently it is not possible to speak with him. His mother is ill. What I have heard from his surroundings: He is very concerned, he rejects and completely excludes all this.". The Management Board of Yidl Vienna seems to consider all the action "as a sort of conspiracy threaded by a renegade henchman.". M....sky: "There was a disciple in Serbia for over 30 years and it became apparent that somewhere there was arising a kind of competition. This man has said that he will destroy XXXXX's work. At the same time, the internet sites were born. "

I've just gotten an email from a woman who does not want to make her name public and would like to stay out of any further discussion. She just felt that she needed to say something what has been eating her up for some time. Can anybody listen?

I would like to thank to all who are writing on this forum and to thank "devotees" 1,2,3,4,5,6 for their courage and honesty . I don't feel like explaining in many details but I came to the point that it is important to me to open up and tell here that I was once with swAmi in his bedroom. He made me to do "the b…w job" (oral sex). Maybe because it happened only once and I didn't know about such other cases I didn't talk about it to anybody. Of course I was very confused and in a way I am still now, but now I know - that was not "guru's leela" but abuse. While reading testimonies on web site http://sites.google.com/site/paramliar/ I’ve recognized very same details that I saw or went through. Once swaAmi grabbed my breast and squeezed it so strongly that I felt an awful pain (the same thing wrote devotee 3). On another occasion I saw one young disciple licking swAmi's fingers. That was so inappropriate; actually I see all this as very sick and so difficult to "digest" mentally and emotionally. I would like to invite all ex or those who are still swAmi's disciples to write about their experiences. You can explain it with as less or as many details that you feel. You can stay anonymous as I wish to stay but I think that it will help if we speak out.

Well, i am new here and i decided to post in the corner for positive thinking, which seemed a good place to start but now i see there are vampires and robots and even the muppets and mud here so i am not at all sure i have landed in the correct quarters, but nonetheless... one has to start somewhere.

Today there is some news from Australia that perhaps one or two of you will take some interest in. I was told today they had a meeting of all the people who run the centres and many people resigned, even the national co-ordinator who everyone knows has been keeping the whole thing going for years. Also all of the teachers from brisbane walked away, so nobody will be left there at all and the centre will most likely close down. The retreat place in Dungog has no teachers any more. This is a major thing in Australia. I was told the centre in Perth closed a month ago and we never heard a thing about it really.

Wow, you have to wonder if anything will survive? There will be some meeting where people get to vote on what to do next. So i wonder what we have to vote on exactly.

I honestly hope something positive will come of it all, that's why i posted this comment here. I trust those of you who are regular here will protect me from the vampires and the like.

Will keep you posted if i hear more.

Please pray for me that i am not visited by the vampires.

(only if you believe in vampires and prayers that is)
