The Owners Corporation Vic Regulations 2018 (V002) dated 01/12/2021 

Of particular importance for external changes is: Rule 5.2 External appearance of lots of the Owners Corporation Vic Regulations 2018.

5.2 (1) says "An owner or occupier of a lot must obtain the written approval of the owners corporation before making any changes to the external appearance of their lot."

All owners corporations have rules for the control, management, administration, use and enjoyment of common property and lots such as matters relating to security protocols, parking and noise. A set of model rules apply to all owners corporations. These rules are set out in schedule 2 of the Owners Corporations Regulations 2018.
