Management of Estate

The day to day running of the Estate (Owners Corporation CS1034) is the responsibility of the Committee of Management (COM). The OC Act 2006 requires that Committee is composed of 3 to 7 owners who are elected at the Annual General Meeting (AGM), normally held on the fourth (4th) Monday of November. The Committee is assisted by a paid OC Manager who takes instructions from the Committee.  The OC Manager carries out secretarial and financial functions, see below for more info.

The owners corporation, and hence the Committee, is required by the prevailing legislation to make sure that residents and owners comply with the rules established for the owners corporation. 

The Committee normally meets on the second Tuesday of each month with the possible exception of January. Residents are welcome to discuss any problems with Committee, upon request, and before each meeting, or by written notice.

The COM only exists when a quorum of members officially meet. Individual Committee members can not make decisions about the Estate and have no powers.

On 13/07/2022 The Knight commenced as the CS1034 Owners Corporation Manager. They act as the Secretary and handle the banking and financial management/reporting of the Estate. They look after the accounting, banking, collection of the Owners Corporation levies (fees), sending out of information as required from time to time as well as the Annual General Meeting (AGM) notices. A representative attends the monthly Committee of Management meetings.
