Scene (SCN) Modes

Yes, you may say - Scene Modes on an Enthusiast / Pro Level Camera? Do you really use them?

Aside from the classic (old) general ones where a serious photographer might do better learning how to control the camera directly, there are a few surprises.

Also, unlike the SCN modes in other cameras where you cannot control anything - the camera sets everything automatically, on the EM-1, you can adjust some settings.

To adjust some settings even if you are in SCN Mode,

If you made adjustments and turned the dial away from SCENE, the adjustments would be lost.

Enabled SCP (Super Control Panel) previously when the Mode Dial is in any of P A S M.

To reach Live SCP in SCN Mode,

1. Switch to SCN using the Mode Dial (of course).

   1. You will be displaying the SCN Menu or you can press the Ok button at the back of the camera to display the SCN Menu.

   2. Press the INFO button when you are looking at the SCN Menu and the screen will toggle to the Super Control Panel (SCP).
