Firmware Update Version 4.0 of the E-M5 Mark II provides the features of Focus Stacking and Focus Bracketing.

  • Focus Bracketing is the shooting of multiple frames (JPEG and raw possible). You use third party software to produce a composite image

  • Focus Stacking uses the camera to shoot 8 frames a variable number of frames (thanks to Paul Pavlinovich for testing) and produce a composite JPEG in-camera.
