Focus Bracketing is the shooting of multiple frames (JPEG and raw possible). You use third party software to produce a composite image
Focus Stacking uses the camera to shoot
8 framesa variable number of frames (thanks to Paul Pavlinovich for testing) and produce a composite JPEG in-camera.
