ABOUT CANADA TRAVEL
Bring CADs or get at ATM from airport or banks. USA dollar gets you $1.30CAD, so do not pay in US dollars.
Bring a credit card that does not charge foreign exchange fee. Otherwise you may end up paying an extra 10-15 cents per transaction
Cell phone use - check with your provider about use in Canada. Most will charge you for roaming!
If you choose to nix the roaming - then set your phone to airplane mode. You can still access wifi and with an apple phone you can do facetime and imessage. If you have android you can still to your voice over internet stuff.
I plan to TURN OFF my phone.
Note: once your phone rings, you are charged roaming. Once your are "dinged" with a text, you are charged for a text msg.
I think SPRINT includes calls from Canada and therefore no roaming!
Internet access - available in the rooms. This is supposed to be free to any Starwoods member with an AMEX card.
