Virtues

There are many different virtues that you can choose from, and you can equip five. Here is what the panel looks like below.

Each virtue has an active and a passive. Active means you will have that bonus when you equip it as part of your five. Passive means you will always have that bonus if you equip it or not. So it is in your favor to get all of these to the max - but focus on your 5 first.

You can get stat increases on the following:

  • Agility
  • Armour Value
  • Critical Defence
  • Critical Rating
  • Evade Rating
  • Fate
  • Will
  • Finesse Rating
  • in-Combat Morale Regen
  • Incoming Healing Rating
  • Maximum Morale
  • Maximum Power
  • Might


  • Physical Mastery Rating
  • Physical Mitigation
  • Resistance Rating
  • Tactical Mastery Rating
  • Tactical Mitigation
  • Vitality


As a minstrel you can either focus on what your class needs the most which would be: Will, Fate, Vitality, Crit Rating and Tactical Mastery or you can choose to focus on what will not usually be on your gear: Physical Mitigation, Resistance Rating, and Tactical Mitigation. Or you can do a mix of both!

For stats you will need all of these, most you will get on your gear so you won't have to worry about them too much. But mitigation and resistance is important to survival in later content, because if you can't "avoid" the damage, you might die and then everyone dies.

I find myself equipping Fidelity, Loyalty, Confidence, Valour, Honesty, Wisdom, Honour, and Wit. Just pick what you would like to have more stats of, but if you are leveling, I'd slot the ones with Vitality and Morale bonuses for now.
