Virtues:
Virtues are part of your trait system; some people put these aside and don’t even bother with them. Well that is unfortunate; Virtues are very important to a minstrel's career. Choosing the right ones is even more vital. These are a few a minstrel should consider:
Honesty, Justice, Empathy, Loyalty, Valour, Confidence, Fidelity, Idealism, and Determination.
You can only go with five of these, so choose well; I’ll cover them at the max rank.
Honesty boosts: power for healing and armour for protection. It reduces the damage a mob can inflict, and increseases fate. (see stats) This is a good trait for healing and getting attacked. So, for fellowships.
Justice increases your morale regen while in battle, adds lots of morale and out of battle morale regen. This is a good trait for getting attacked. So, for Solo’ing and maybe groups.
Empathy adds to your armour, fate for regen and Fear resistance. This is a good trait for getting attacked, little healing and Shadow-fear defense. So, great for Rift, and possibly Watcher raids.
Loyalty increases your morale, power and armour. This is great for groups and solo’ing; I’d recommend always having this slotted.
Confidence adds to shadow defense, increases your power, and out of combat power regen. This is a little good for Rift, but not something I’d keep all the time. (The out of combat regen is useless in Watcher because you are ALWAYS in combat.)
Fidelity adds to shadow defense, also increases your morale and power pool.
This is great for groups, Rift, Watcher, and even solo’ing. I’d keep this around for everything.
Idealism adds fate – Power and morale regen − Fear resistance and even your power pool.
This is perfect for a minstrel, groups and solo. Keep this equipped at all times.
Determination adds agility, in-combat morale regen and morale. This is great for solo’ing, since it increases your damage, battle regen and max morale.
