Fra Diavolo (1933)

When they lose their life savings to a bandit, Stanlio and Ollio decide that they could recoup their money by becoming bandits themselves. And when they hear of Fra Diavolo (Dennis King), the most feared bandit of all, Ollie decides that he should impersonate him to maximise their income. Unfortunately their intended victim is Diavolo himself … The notorious bandit forces them to join him in his plan to acquire the riches of Lord Rocburg (James Finlayson) and his pretty young wife (Thelma Todd at her most flirtatious).
