The Boys are working as barbers when Stan decides to reply to a wealthy young widow’s ad seeking marriage. Ollie replies too and before long he is the one sweet talking the lady in black. Unfortunately she has sworn revenge on all Olivers since being jilted by an Oliver and Ollie is due to become victim number eight! It’s evident that Jitters the butler is as nutty as the widow and then Stan arrives demanding half of what Ollie is going to get...
Stan and Ollie head out to the “high multitudes” for the good of Ollie’s gout. Little do they realise the well-water there is spiked with moonshine liquor until it is much enjoyed by them and Charlie Hall’s wife (played by Mae Busch).
Stan and Ollie make a living selling fish. Stan has a great idea to improve the business: they should buy a boat to catch their own fish and cut out the middle men. But the boat they buy needs fixing up and to check for leaks they fill it with water …
The cost of the evening is £3 for members (£4 for non-members - including lifetime
membership to the Men o' War Tent) and £2 for under age 16 years.
The usual tea/coffee/soft drinks and biscuits will be provided for the break.
