1. Community Health Fair

a. OneOhOne Gallery – 101 W. Main St. Mesa, AZ 85201

b. Saturday October 14th from 10am to 2pm

c. Free flu shots, exhibitions, raffle drawings, and more!

d. This is a FREE event

2. MCC Basic Life Skills Course

a. Requirement for most pre-health grad schools

b. Starting in October

c. Cost is approximately $50

3. Bake Sale Happening Soon!

b. Need to start fundraising now

c. Hoping for 2 bake sales in October

d. Fall Themed bake sale possibly

e. Need to request table, tent, power cord/strip, and chairs

c. ASDA event at Midwestern – AMAZING opportunity for pre-dental students!

i. Saturday November 11th – Midwestern

ii. Scan teeth, design, mill your own tooth, use models

iii. $40 per student

iv. Go to Midwestern website to enroll

d. Midwestern Dental School

i. 1 to 5 faculty to student ratio

ii. Faculty extremely hands on

iii. Success coaches help work with you through any struggles during school

e. Applying for grad school

i. Be confident

ii. Take time to think and thoroughly answer questions during your interview

o Chad’s videos are extremely helpful

o Can choose to enroll in programs with mentors, study aids, etc.

o Practice books

o YouTube videos are helpful as well

o AP Biology book covers majority of biology portion of DAT

o Take a TON of practice tests
