Talaley Zimrah was a set of 4 short 78 rpm "singles" issued in 1951.
The synagogue choir was directed by the choirmaster Jacob Hadida, and the soloist was Abraham Beniso of Gibraltar - who is listed as "Assistant Hazan of the Congregation", though in his later years he was heard to remark dryly: "In all my years at Bevis Marks I never found out who I was supposed to be assisting."
Although perhaps the falsetto renditions are not to modern taste, overall these are excellent recordings.
