- Organisms that have membrane bound organelles are Eukaryotes.
- Eukaryotes have a nucleus which contains the cell’s DNA.
- Along with a nucleus eukaryotes have many complex functional parts called organelles.
- These can be organisms made of one cell (Unicellular) or many cells (Multicellular).
- These cells are large, complex and younger.
Eukaryotes are all organisms that are not Bacteria. Which includes:
- Protists = Algae, Paramecium and Seaweed
- Fungi = Molds, Yeasts and Mushrooms
- Plants = Grass, Trees, Flowers…etc
- Animals = Insects, Fish, Mammals...etc
