LMTIG Present Concerns to Receptive Australian Ambassador

Five LMTIG members met with HE Paul Robbilliard, Australian Ambassador to Thailand at the Australian Embassy in Bangkok on 8th July 2015. LMTIG representatives presented their case to the Ambassador regarding the collapse of Australian licensed LMIM in 2013 highlighting..

• The plight of the LMTIG Investor Group and others associated with us as a direct result of the collapse of LMIM.

• The mixed messages coming out of Australia regarding the country’s financial system.

• The inadequacies of ongoing ASIC investigations into the LMIM fiasco.

• The continual infighting between receivers and regulators who seem to have little regard for the impacted investors.

• Their findings regarding Peter Drakes’s ongoing financial dealings despite being declared bankrupt.

The Ambassador has agreed to present the case to the appropriate individuals/departments in the Australian Government (inc ASIC).
