Personal Data FAQ's

  1. Why does LMIVC ask for my brief details in support of the site goal?

Using tools like google analytics we are able to see how many visitors the site receives. Our estimate is that over 80% of visitors will be aggrieved investors. Those figures themselves (albeit the absolute numbers are subject to the success of discovery) will be a fair indication of the concern and interest in progress toward our goal.

However we liken the difference between visiting the site and providing your brief details in support of the site goal to the difference between listening to the sports news for the result of your teams game and going to the match dressed in your teams colours!

By providing your brief details as an aggrieved LM investor in support of the site goal of A Fair & Just Resolution for LM Investors you take a small but fundamental step toward bringing the LM Investor plight to the attention of authorities and organisations across the world responsible for the prevention and the recovery of assault to civil and consumer rights that the LM debacle represents. History has demonstrated time and time again, the small steps of many create a big result for all.

In addition, going forward, site administrators intend to investigate the:

Creation of groups under the same jurisdiction; for example a group of all aggrieved LM investors in UK. This will allow your group to take collective action in whatever way you choose. One idea here is that you may want to write a group backed letter to the foreign minister of the government requesting the UK encourage the Australian government take a particular course in dealing with some aspects of this disaster.

Creation of groups invested via the same adviser. For example a group of aggrieved LM Investors invested via the same advisor may agree to take collective action in the jurisdiction that the advisor operated which is likely to be much more feasible than single handed action.

************************************************

Thank you for completing the LMIVC LM MPF Questionnaire: Q1.

************************************************

Then your form was submitted successfully.

It is not uncommon for mail systems to deliver emails from senders not in your address book directly into your spam or junk folder. Here are some ways to prevent this:

  • add lmivc.inf@gmail.com to your email service address book or, even better, your safe senders list that some service providers offer.

  • move the sender of interest's mail from the spam or junk folder to the inbox and then read / process it as normal.

  • mark the mail in question as 'not junk' found in some services by hovering over the email item in the spam or junk folder list and right clicking to show a list of options including 'not junk'.

Please note: lmivc.inf@gmail.com is intended as an information distribution address. Emails to lmivc.inf@gmail will not be answered.

  1. I have completed LMIVC questionnaires in the past but I am not sure if I one of those questionnaires was the Q1 questionnaire, is there any way I can check to see if I have completed the Q1 questionnaire?

You may search your email account for emails from lmivc.inf@gmail.com. If you see an email from lmivc.inf@gmail.com with the content below then LMIVC have received your returned questionnaire. 1. I have completed the LMIVC MPF Questionnaire Q1 but I have not received any further communication from LMIVC over recovery actions. Have I been missed or excluded for some reason?

If you have completed and submitted the on-line questionnaire Q1 your personal circumstances will be examined for inclusion into one of the initial recovery actions as defined by the Q1 introductory text. LMIVC acknowledge that these recovery actions may not include all investors however those that recover through these actions are then removed from the total investor count consequently enhancing return to those investors who remain dependent on the Korda Mentha driven recoveries.

  1. My investment circumstances don't appear to be covered by the Q1 introductory text, should I still complete the questionnaire?

It is important that all LM MPF investors complete the questionnaire with as much information as possible. Only then can LMIVC properly assess the full range of recovery opportunities.

  1. I have previously registered with LMIVC in support of the goal of a Fair and Just Resolution for all LM Investors, do I still have to complete questionnaire Q1?

Yes. All LM MPF investors are requested to complete the questionnaire Q1.

  1. How will I know when I am being included in any recovery action?

You will be notified via email to the email address you have provided in the questionnaire Q1.

  1. How can I remain appraised of progress with recovery actions?

General recovery action progress will be reported periodically under the Recovery Initiatives tab of the LMIVC site. Specific recovery action updates will be made to participating investors via email to the address provided.

  1. What is the cost to each investor of the recovery actions being proposed?

Subsequent to completion of questionnaire Q1 each responding investor will be invited to become a LMIVC member. Membership will be administered via a membership agreement. LMIVC propose to define generic costs in that agreement. LMIVC intend to define any other specific (to a particular recovery action) costs in communication to participating investors as soon as those parameters can be determined. The LMIVC intention is to avoid up front investor costs in the pursuit of recovery actions. Only LMIVC members will be eligible to join recovery actions.
