In response to a letter to the UK Finance Minister as part of the LMIVC Independent Inquiry call initiative an LMIVC supporter has received a reply from the office of the UK finance minister, George Osborne. Written by one of the 'Correspondance Team' the content indicates the UK government awareness of the debacle and the distress caused but advises there are no grounds on which UK authorities can intervene directly.
