Another great way to introduce or present literature to students is through the use of booktalks. A booktalk is a great tool for getting students interested in reading a particular book or genre of books. The librarian briefly explains the plot of the book or books while providing the children with just enough clues to peak their interest without giving away too many details or the ending!
