Checks should be arriving within the next week or so.
Now that we are getting into the home stretch of the season, be wary of more physical contact between players. Discipline, especially in the older age groups seems to dissipate as the Futsal season draws to a close. If you do have cards in your games they need to be reported no later than 8pm on the Monday after that game. There is a yellow card count and if the reports do not come in on time, players who should be suspended will get away with it. A separate report for each player carded needs to be submitted.
Most feedback has been good throughout the season but there has been one item that I have mentioned ad nauseam that is still not being enforced and that is distance on restarts. Regardless of age or gym size restarts apart from the kick off and penalty kick require the opponents to be a minimum of 5 yards from the spot of the restart. That is a lot of space in just about every gym and that is done on purpose so teams can put the ball back in play freely. Not enforcing distance properly can lead to players needing to unnecessarily change tactics that lessen the learning impact of Futsal as far as player development as players try to kick for goal instead of building the play. ENFORCE DISTANCE!
