InfernalSynth is a free and Open Source semi-modular VST3 synthesizer and effect plugin for Windows.
It sports multiple oscillator types including Basic shapes, mix, DSF, Karplus Strong and Noise. There is also FM and sync, multiple LFOs and envelopes, and plenty of automation capability. In short, there is lots of sound-design scope here. Check the Manual for more info.
It appears also the Developer is currently working on GUI rewrite along with support for other platforms and is open to feedback.
