SH2-Dry Gulch

Welcome to the Stake Center

While here:

1. Grab your color tab!

2. Find a couch and get comfortable!

3. Watch the video found here (Victor L. Brown, Oct. GC, 1975): www.tinyurl.com/blue-tie-2019 (Just watch the first 5 minutes and 50 seconds of this talk here, but finish it at home, it's a good one!)

4. Text your answers to the below questions to 928-533-8981 (Uh . . . you might want to use voice to text!):

---a. Elder Brown says that some LDS youth programs try to "compete in a worldly way" for the attention of our youth. What does he mean? Is he right? Discuss!

---b. Elder Brown says that youth can only come to be more active in the church by doing the work of the priesthood quorums (deacon, teacher, priest) and by sacrificing for the Church. He says that sacrificing for the Church is the only way to really come to love it. He makes the point that emphasizing recreation and entertainment programs will be less exciting for the youth than doing service in our quorums, (and for the young women) and in our classes. Do you think he is right? Why or why not? Text your answer to 928-533-8981
