Online Evaluation Activity Center

If you are required to take quizzes, exams or other evaluation activities online, and you need help signing up for, logging in or beginning to use Quia Web, follow the instructions below.

Signing-Up for Quia Web--

You need to sign up for Quia Web in order to take online quizzes and tests. Here are the instructions:

Step 1. Go to the Quia Web website at http://www.quia.com/web.

Step 2. Now, click the area labeled Students. When the next page appears, enter your username and password that you already have set-up and use for your online Spanish workbook (which is administered by Quia Web's sister division, Quia Books). (Note: If you are in a class that does not require the use of the Online Spanish Workbook, such as SPA 125, Spanish for Health Care Workers, at this point you will need to create an account with Quia. Click on "Create my Free Account" and follow the required steps. Then, start back at step one on this page to complete the signing up process.)

Step 3. You should now be in the Student Zone. Type in the class code (your instructor will provide you with this at the appropriate time--usually found on the first page of the syllabus highlighted in yellow). Make sure you use the "class code" and not the "course code" (it's a common mistake). Now you're done!

Now that you have registered for your instructor's course, you can view your class web page, take quizzes, view your quiz results, view time spent on Quia activities, and read your instructor's feedback from your Quia account.

Follow these steps to view your results:

Step 1. Log in to your account. (Remember, go to the Quia Web home page at http://www.quia.com/web and click the area labeled Students.)

Step 2. Click on the class name.

If you get an error message . . .

that reads "You do not have access to this quiz. Please contact your instructor for further assistance" follow these instructions:

1. Go to www.quia.com/web and click on the large word “Students” in orange on the right.

2. Now, in the box that reads “Student Zone” type in your username and password and click “Log-in”.

3. Then, at the bottom of your screen, you will see the words “class code” and a text box field. Click in the text box and type the class code for your particular class. The CLASS CODE is found on the first page of the syllabus, near the top.

4. Now, you’re signed up. Go back to the page that took you to the activity that you wanted to complete, click again on the link, type in your username and password again and you will be live! Good luck!
