Edward Henry WARD and Clyte Veronna Maynard WARD nee THOMAS were licensees of the Penneshaw Hotel from 1 April 1958 to 30 June 1972. Clyte died 11 May 1972 and was cremated at Centennial Park on 13 May. Edward continued with the Penneshaw pub until December 1974. Last known he was communicating with the Dept, Veteran Affairs in 1987.
