As you well know, my name is Keren Pérez Rodríguez I'm 25 years old and this is my last year as a Student of English Pedagogy Program at Universidad San Sebastián. I cannot believe that in a couple of months I will finally become in an English teacher. Certainly, I have a mix of feelings about it, because this year it is not the way I expected to be, but I’m always trying to do the best I can.
As I mentioned before, I was not expecting to continue this year with online classes. Surely none of my classmates ever imagined to have our Práctica Porfesional behind a computer, but it was something that we have to face, and that’s one of my fears: How am I supposed to do it? Are my future students going to participle when I ask them? Are they even going to connect to my online classes? How am I supposed to build confidence between my students and I? For a moment, my anxiety wanted to win me, but then I thought that probably future classes will be online and this is the moment to start learning how to do it.
This portfolio has every practice that I have done during these years. In this opportunity the page related to Práctica Profesional, will include an introduction, information related to the school and my guide teacher, planning, evaluations, materials, evidences and reflections of my classes and own work. The main aim of this portfolio is to have evidence of my practices. At the same time, this portfolio helps me to be aware of my mistakes and try to correct them.
