Health Fair
Thank you to Lenora Paulo (event coordinator), Tiare Vainerere, Vanessa Hollinger, Denise Prow, Kahuku High students, teachers, and all our volunteers for making the Ka`a`awa 4th Annual Health Fair a success! We also want to thank Tamuras for their generous donations of water flasks for the students' goodie bags. Your contributions made it possible for our students to enjoy a day of tumbling, rolling, jumping, skipping, sampling healthy dishes, and learning how to lead a healthy active life.

Career Day Volunteers
Career Readiness is an integral part of curriculum, and an important aspect of character education for youth. This year we are planning a Career Day at Ka’a’awa Elementary School on Friday, December 1st, 2017. We are asking for your assistance in making this activity a success. Volunteers will have 25 minute sessions scheduled with individual classes to discuss their background, duties, and requirements of the profession. If you or someone you know would be interested in participating in Career Day, please fill out this Career Day Online Volunteer Registration form or download and print the Career Day PDF form and send it back to your child’s teacher by Friday, November 17th. If you have any questions regarding this event, please contact the school counselor, Li’i Bee at 305-6677.

Halloween Parade
We had a thrilling day at Ka`a`awa Halloween Parade this year! Coach T, Student Council, Mrs. Dunovant, and Michael Jackson (Colton H.) rocked out to the sound of "Thriller" by Michael Jackson. So many elaborate costumes and so much fun energy from all our students and staff members. Overall a fun day for everyone!
