Fun Run Success!
We did it! Our Kaaawa 5k Fun Run was a huge success; we had over 1,600 participants! Many dedicated and talented parents, teachers, volunteers, and our principal "synergized" to make this year's 5K Fun Run most exciting and memorable. The event ran smoothly with numerous positive compliments from the participants. It was a fun family day of running, walking, and enjoying beautiful Kualoa Ranch and its famous film sites. A big Mahalo to Kualoa Ranch for supporting our school, and a very special thanks to Montanna Honeycutt for creating this year's theme and promoting the run. Our PTO President, Karla Cepeda, and PTO Treasurer, Vanessa Hollinger, also spent many hours organizing, and managing all aspects of this huge event. Thank you for a job well done ladies! We hope to see all of this year's participants at our next 5K Fun Run in 2018 :)
School Parking Reminder
All parents and visitors should park on the grass area near the basketball court. The marked-stalls and the entire gravel area are for the faculty parking. Mahalo!

Matt 808 221 - 0921 Marie 808 305 - 6650
How it Works
All subscriptions are placed online at www.oahufresh.com and deliveries occur every other week on Tuesday afternoons (2:00pm - 3:30pm). On delivery days please sign and pick up your vegetable basket in the front office. All the items in the bag are chosen for you depending on seasonality and paired with delicious recipes. Every Monday afternoon Oahu Fresh will post to the website what’s in the bag including recipe recommendations on how to prepare the produce. On average, there are 6-7 items in the bag, usually enough for feeding 2-3 people for the week depending on how much produce your household consumes.
Specialty Items
After you’ve ordered your produce bag, you can add on “specialty items” to your order. Items include but are not limited to free-range eggs, grass-fed beef, pork, coffee, honey, butter, cheese, and much more!
Cost
There is a one-time membership fee of $15. Farmers’ Market Bags cost $20 plus any specialty items you choose to add on. There is a $5 delivery fee on each order which will be donated to Ka`a`awa Elementary School.
Fresh, Local, Convenient
O‘ahu Fresh – Hawai‘i’s Food Hub - provides farmer’s market delivery to households who are committed to eating healthy, fresh produce while at the same time supporting Hawai‘i’s farmers. Every other week, you receive a farmers’ market bag of fresh, local produce to your home, office or school. Produce items can include but are not limited to lettuce, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, Japanese cucumbers, papayas, bananas, corn, Swiss chard, kale, butternut squash, mushrooms, carrots and much more. All items are locally grown and sustainably farmed!
Farm to School
Oahu Fresh CSA produce delivery is a great program to add to your busy schedule, encouraging a healthy lifestyle while supporting Hawai‘i’s local farmers
