Penuche Frosting

I remember the pan being passed around so everyone could have a turn beating this frosting. It’s a good deltoid work out! This easy version is “easy”.

Ingredients

½ c. butter or margarine

1 c. brown sugar

¼ c. milk

2 c. powdered sugar

Preparation

Melt butter in saucepan or microwave. Stir in brown sugar. Boil and stir 2 minutes. Stir in milk. Bring to boil, stirring. Cool. Don’t stir. Beat in powdered sugar.
