Mars-Analog Research

Between 2002 and 2006, I spent a total of over ten weeks on board Mars base simulation facilities in the Utah desert and near the North Pole, conducting hands-on, immersive research on space habitat design, human integration, and planetary exploration. My roles ranged from Human Factors researcher to navigator to station engineer to mission commander. Good times! Click on the images below to find out more about these endeavors.
