Very Garlic Baguette
Ingredients for two:
Half a half-baked baguette (or a half-baked half-baguette)
One bulb [sic] of garlic
1/2 stick (2 oz) of butter
Dash of salt
Fresh-ground pepper
Dash of dried dill
Preparation:
Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees F
Break up garlic bulb and get garlic cloves ready for garlic press
Put butter into a small pan on medium heat
Once butter is melted, press all the garlic into it
Stir immediately
Add salt, pepper and dill
Stir for a minute or so until garlic is slightly browned
Switch off heat to pan
Cut half-baguette in half (length-wise)
Put baguette halves on baking sheet, inside facing up
Spread butter/garlic mix over the baguettes
Bake for 8 minutes
Pull out once it's slightly browned (don't overbake)
Serve warm.
