Nella's Chocolate Chip Cookies

A friend came up with this one. Nom nom nom!

Dry Ingredients:

  • 3 and 3/4 cup of Flour

  • 1 tsp of salt

  • 1 tsp of baking powder

  • 1/2 bag of chocolate chips

Wet Ingredients:

  • 1 cup white sugar

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 1 egg (unless it is winter time, then sometimes you need two)

  • 10 tbsp of butter, softened

  • 2/3 cup of Crisco

  • 1 Tbsp of vanilla extra

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F

  2. Mix the wet ingredients together, then slowly add and mix in the dry ingredients except for the chocolate chips (sometimes due to the amount of flour, it can seem like there is too much flour but it is fine)

  3. Once every is mixed together well, add in the chocolate chips

  4. Form the dough into plum-sized portions and put those on a greased baking sheet

  5. Cook for about 10-12 minutes or until brown on top
