Shirley Carroll comes from a family who loves Country Music. Most all her brothers and sisters were named after a country western music artist. I first married Shirley (Surrett) Carroll in 1957, we were married for about a year and then divorced for about ten years. During the time we were separated, Shirley didn't sit around crying about spilled milk. She went to Chicago and got herself a good job, then started hanging out with country music people; that's what this page is all about.

I feel extremely blessed that the Lord saw fit to keep Shirley for me all those years. The competition for her was more than I can understand, but what's important is that I am the one she chose to start a family and grow old with. That is the best second chance a person can hope for.
